Micah is a graphic designer whose practice utilizes typography and cultural media to create immersive, accessible, and subversive works. With a keen drive to pursue new mediums, his work draws inspiration from linocuts, garment design, and video production. Micah’s approach focuses on finding unique angles to create distinct works. He’s interested in the visual culture of shared experiences and building community through communal interest.

Micah’s passion for design began with his dad’s extensive LEGO collection, where he would spend his weekends constructing and refining his creations to show off to his family. He would later transition that energy into the BFA program in the Art & Design department at Cal Poly SLO, where he now spends his free time designing a myriad of projects to excite his friends and clients.

Outside of coursework, Micah manages the brand identity for Cal Poly’s Division 1 Ultimate Frisbee team, creating promotional graphics, highlight reels, and team merchandise. He also contributes regularly to .RAW, the university’s Art & Design student-run magazine, producing print and digital content for social media and special issues. Looking ahead, he hopes to continue merging his wide array of creative passions—whether analog or digital—into collaborative design work that challenges norms, sparks dialogue, and brings people together.

You’re cool, I’m cool, let’s chat!
