December 2024

A pair of graphics for a poster advertising Amy Sherald’s exhibit at the SF MoMA, and an accompanying ticket to commemorate the experience. The intended audience was pedestrians passing by posters on the street, as well as MoMA frequenters looking to see what’s new. The various type treatments reflect the elegance and power of Sherald’s portraiture, drawing from the visual language of her work to inform hierarchy and rhythm. The accompanying ticket extends the visual identity, creating a cohesive and memorable experience. Together, the designs celebrate Sherald’s aesthetic while aligning with the MoMA brand.
